Macquarie snaps up 50% stake in Enel Inexperienced Energy for €250m | Information


Macquarie Asset Administration has acquired a 50% stake in Enel Inexperienced Energy Hellas from Enel Group for €250m. 

Enel Inexperienced Energy Hellas develops and operates inexperienced vitality tasks in Greece, with a 566MW portfolio of onshore wind, photo voltaic and hydropower tasks in operation or underneath building throughout its mainland and islands.

The portfolio contains 59 operational tasks totaling 482MW of put in capability powered by wind, photo voltaic and hydropower, and 6 photo voltaic tasks underneath building with an total capability of 84MW.

Eric Bjonerud, managing director at MAM Inexperienced Investments, mentioned: “The Greek market is quickly accelerating away from fossil fuels and now holds enormous potential in serving to to speed up Europe’s decarbonisation efforts.
