Rep. Ted Lieu, the California Democrat who’s a major proponent of artificial intelligence policymaking in Congress, pushed back against the House Chief Administrative Office’s (CAO) new guardrails around the use of popular generative AI tool ChatGPT, telling FedScoop this week that congressional staff should be free to use AI tools for any purposes they see fit.
