Aberdeen has historically had a bad rap for being full of tight-fisted curmudgeons who take themselves too seriously.
Nothing could be further from the truth. The fine peope of the north-east generally love a laugh and have no problem poking fun at the stereotypes they’re subjected to.
Glasgow is synonymous with arguably Scotland’s most famous sitcom, Still Game, while Aberdeen has only really been portrayed comedically in the 1990 John Byrne classic Your Cheatin’ Heart.
