Major Apple supplier Foxconn has hiked the pay and bonus packages for new workers at its biggest iPhone plant at Zhengzhou, China. This news comes ahead of the debut of the iPhone 15, which is expected to launch in September this year.
Foxconn Planning to Ramp up iPhone Production
According to an SCMP report, new employees at the Zhengzhou factory will get up to 3,000 yuan ($424) in bonuses for completing at least 90 days of factory work. Meanwhile, they’ll earn an hourly wage of up to 21 yuan per hour.
