By Divyanshi Sharma: ChatGPT was unveiled by OpenAI in November 2022 and the chatbot quickly gained popularity. Much credit for ChatGPT’s success goes to its ability to respond in a human-like manner and go ahead with tasks that were previously considered to be exclusive to human beings. The chatbot was not only able to write essays and reports after receiving the right set of instructions, but could also compose music, write poetry, tell stories and so on. Soon, students also found a creative way to use the chatbot- to help them write assignments.
