Re: “CEO says regulation is needed — ChatGPT head addresses risks of technology before Congress,” Wednesday news story.

As a Writers Guild of America member currently on strike due to a list of issues and concerns — including the future use of AI by studios and streamers in screenwriting — I find it telling that even the head of ChatGPT addressed the risks of AI technology and urged regulation at Tuesday’s Senate hearing.

The best art of any kind should be inspired by someone’s experiences and emotions. AI is inspired by someone else’s work.
