The Android OS is known for having many features, some more obscure than others but one has been missing since the first version was launched nearly 15 years ago – a separate volume slider for calls and notifications.
According to 9to5Google, this will finally happen, as Google implemented an ADB command back in December.
The line in question is
adb shell device_config put systemui volume_separate_notification true
and it is about time for the feature to be released, either with QPR3 or Android 14 in the coming months.
