Oppo is preparing to launch its A-series smartphone, the Oppo A98 5G. The device has already appeared on various certification websites such as NBTC, SIRIM, TDRA, and CQC, but this time the design renders of the device, as well as some key specifications, have surfaced online, giving us a good idea of what to expect. Oppo A98 5G Renders Surface Online
The Oppo A98 5G renders come courtesy of Sudhanshu Ambhore from Appuals and SnoopyTech. According to the leaked images, the device has a centered hole-punch notch.

According to the certification listings, the device has the model number CPH2529, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor, and 67W fast charging support. Aside from that, no other information about the device is available.
Oppo A98 5G: Rumored Specifications
The Oppo A98 5G is expected to have a 6.7-inch, 120Hz, LTPS display with a Full HD+ (2400 x 1080) resolution and a pixel density of 391ppi. According to the render, there will be a centered punch-hole camera, and the display will be protected by Panda Glass.
The A98 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC, 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 256GB of internal storage.
In terms of optics, the A98 5G could have three cameras: a 64MP primary camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro camera. According to the leak, the device will support EIS (Electronic Image Stabilisation). The front is expected to house a 32MP selfie camera.
According to reports, the smartphone will have a 5,000mAh battery and support for 67W SuperVOOC charging. It’s also expected to have a fingerprint scanner on the side.
The phone will reportedly feature an IPX4 rating and could support a microSD card slot as well. Lastly, it’s expected to ship with Android 13 out of the box with ColorOS 13 on top.
