As we head closer to Google I/O 2023, the rumours about Google’s new hardware have begun to ramp up. And while we’ve seen several leaks about the Pixel 7a and the Pixel tablet, none have hogged the spotlight as much as the Pixel Fold.
Google’s upcoming foldable Pixel is expected to make a big splash at I/O 2023 on May 10 if rumours are to be believed. And this latest one gives us the most detailed look at the Pixel Fold’s spec sheet. Tipster Yogesh Brar recently uploaded a tweet, revealing the full specifications of the Pixel Fold.

According to Brar, the Pixel Fold will use the older Tensor G2 chipset, which was first introduced on the Pixel 7 series, as opposed to the new Tensor chip coming to the Pixel 8 series. Google’s upcoming foldable phone will come with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage.

The Pixel Fold is expected to pack a 4,500 mAh battery with 23W fast charging support, although there is no mention of wireless charging. The phone will run on stock Android 13, we can imagine with quite a few modifications to improve the foldable experience.
Google Pixel Fold Cameras, Dispaly
For the cameras, the Pixel Fold will feature a triple-camera setup on the back with a 48 MP primary sensor with OIS support, a 10.8 MP ultrawide shooter, and a 10.8 MP telephoto lens. The inner display will feature an 8 MP selfie camera, while the cover screen will opt for a 9.5 MP camera sensor.
The Pixel Fold is expected to feature a 7.6-inch QXGA+ AMOLED display on the inside and a 5.8-inch HD+ AMOLED cover screen. Both displays will feature a 120Hz refresh rate, although there is no mention if LTPO technology will be used on either of the two panels.
As of now, these rumours cannot be confirmed but Brar did note that the 10.8 MP camera sensor is used as the selfie camera on the Pixel 7 series. He also noted that the Pixel Fold won’t arrive in India due to its cost.
