Motorola Edge 40 design, key specs revealed; Curved AMOLED Display, 50 MP Dual Cameras Tipped

Motorola is gearing up to launch new smartphones in China soon. The Motorola Edge 40 Ultra and Moto Razr Plus 2023 are expected to debut in China soon alongside a vanilla Edge 40 variant. And now, promotional images of the Motorola Edge 40 have surfaced online.

The promotional images for the Motorola Edge 40 were shared by tipster Evan Blass and give us a detailed look at the device. The leak shared by Blass, showcases the Moto Edge 40 in four colour options, including Black, Blue, Green, and Magenta.

Motorola Edge 40 Design Leaked

Straight off the bat, the back panel of the Moto Edge 40 features a textured back panel. Additionally, the Black and Magenta variant also appear to have a Vegan Leather finish on the back. The Magenta version looks like the same colour as the Viva Magenta Moto Edge 30 Fusion model.

The side of the Motorola Edge 40 also appears to have an aluminium frame. The screen also appears to have a curved screen and an in-display fingerprint reader. The Edge 40 also has a dual-camera setup on the back with two LED flash modules and a punch-hole camera cut-out on the screen.

Motorola Edge 40 Specifications (Expected)

According to previous reports,Motorola’s upcoming Edge 40 smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8020 SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The phone is expected to sport a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate.

The images shared by Blass also reveal a 50 MP primary camera sensor with OIS and a secondary shooter, which is likely a 13 MP ultrawide unit. On the back, there’s a 32 MP selfie camera. The phone packs a 4,400 mAh battery with 68W wired fast charging and 15W wireless fast charging support.
