Vivo is gearing up to launch a new smartphone in its Y series. The Vivo Y78 Plus 5G is expected to make its debut in China soon. The Vivo Y78+ 5G was recently spotted on Geekbench and Chinese certification website TENAA.
And now, the most recent leak reveals the full Vivo Y78+ 5G specifications through China Telecom. The leaked details suggests that Vivo’s upcoming 5G smartphone will use a Snapdragon chipset, AMOLED display, dual-camera setup, and a sizeable battery.

Vivo Y78+ 5G Specifications (Expected)
The Vivo Y78 Plus 5G will be powered by the Snapdragon 695 SoC paired with the Adreno 619 GPU. The phone is expected to come with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The handset will run Android 13 out of the box with Vivo’s Funtouch OS 13 skin on top. Moreover, the Y78+ 5G is touted to pack a 4,500 mAh battery with 48W fast charging support.
The phone could sport a 6.78-inch FHD+ OLED display with curved edges. The screen is also expected to feature a 120Hz refresh rate. The Vivo Y78 Plus 5G is touted to use a dual-camera setup on the back with a 50 MP primary sensor with OIS and a 2 MP secondary sensor. Up front, the Vivo Y78+ opts for an 8 MP selfie camera.
Vivo Y78+ 5G Price (Expected)
According to a report by MySmartPrice, the Vivo Y78 Plus 5G price will start from CNY 1,799 (roughly Rs 21,500) for the base 8GB/128GB model. Additionally, the phone will be offered in 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB models that will set you back CNY 2,199 (roughly Rs 26,250) and CNY 2,299 (roughly Rs 27,500), respectively.
The Vivo Y78 Plus 5G launch in China is expected to take place on April 26, 2023. However, there’s no word about the Vivo Y78+ 5G launch in India and globally yet. It is worth noting that Vivo has not confirmed any details about the Y78+ 5G’s launch just yet.
