The Pixel 7a is all set to get its global debut at Google I/O 2023 on May 10. While the Pixel 7a’s specifications have been revealed in the past through rumours, this latest leak gives us a look at the front of the Pixel 7a and a glimpse of the return of an old feature.

According to tipster Snoopy Tech, the Google Pixel 7a will support two types of biometric authentication – Face Unlock and Fingerprint-based Unlock. To recall, the Pixel 6a did not support Face Unlock and its addition on the Pixel 7a will provide users more convenience while unlocking their devices.

Google Pixel 7a Specifications

The Google Pixel 7a will be powered by the Tensor G2 SoC, the same chip powering the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. The chip will be paired with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The Pixel 7a will run stock Android 13 out of the box.

The Pixel 7a is expected to feature a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The images leaked by Snoopy Tech reveals a central hole-punch camera cut-out, a flat screen, and sizeable bezels on all sides. The cut-out will house a 10.8 MP primary sensor up front.

On the back, the Pixel 7a will opt for a dual-camera setup with a 64 MP Sony IMX787 primary sensor and a 12 MP ultrawide shooter. The Pixel 7a is tipped to support 18W fast charging and 5W wireless charging.

Google Pixel 7a Price

The Google Pixel 7a price is expected to cost $499, which is $50 more than the Pixel 6a. Additionally, previous reports have suggested that the Pixel 7a price in India will fall in the sub-40K smartphone segment. However, we believe it could be more, starting from under Rs 45,000.

The Pixel 7a will be unveiled on May 10 at Google I/O 2023 alongside the Pixel Fold and Pixel Tab. The Google Pixel 7a India release is expected to take place sometime after its global release at I/O 2023. The Pixel 7a is expected to come in Charcoal, Snow, Sea (light blue), and Coral colours.
