Xiaomi 13 Ultra Launch Event – Where to Watch, Expected Price and Specs, and Other Product Reveals

Xiaomi is all set to unveil its uber-premium Xiaomi 13 Ultra smartphone at its global launch event today, i.e., April 18. But that’s not all, as the Chinese tech giant will also unveil a host of other products such as the Xiaomi Pad 6, the Xiaomi Smart Band 8, and a massive 86-inch Xiaomi Smart TV.

Xiaomi Global Launch Event

Xiaomi has scheduled a global launch event for April 18th, beginning at 4:30 PM IST. The event will be live-streamed on YouTube, and we’ve embedded the video below for your viewing pleasure.

Xiaomi 13 Ultra: Expected Specifications and Price

If the name of the global launch event didn’t already give it away, the star of the show is the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. The smartphone will be the best offering from the Chinese tech giant, so it will include all of the company’s latest and greatest.

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is rumored to sport a 6.7-inch 2K AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it’s expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

In terms of optics, the device is expected to have a quad rear camera setup with a 50MP Sony IMX989 sensor and three unspecified 50MP sensors. A 32MP selfie camera could be housed on the front.

Lastly, the phone is expected to pack a 4,900mAh battery that supports 90W wired and 50W wireless fast charging.

Other Xiaomi Products Are Also Coming

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra won’t be the only product hogging the spotlight as the company will also take off the wraps of the Xiaomi Pad 6, which will reportedly offer a 144Hz display and come with a Snapdragon 870 chip inside, all while being powered by a meaty 8,600mAh battery. There is also a Pro model that will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.

Next is the popular Mi Band series of fitness trackers and the company will reveal the Smart Band 8 fitness band. The company could also reveal a massive 86-inch smart TV that boasts mini-LED technology.

Apart from these categories, Xiaomi could also reveal other products such as a “Xiaomi Sound Move” speaker, smart home products, smart kitchen appliances, and in-ear headphones.
