Lava’s latest budget smartphone, the Lava Blaze 2, is now available for purchase in India a week after it was launched. The affordable phone features a UniSoC T616 chipset, dual rear cameras, 6GB of RAM, and up to 5GB of virtual RAM.
Lava claims that the Lava Blaze 2 has bagged an AnTuTu score of more than 250k, which makes it the best-performing device in the lineup of budget smartphones priced under ₹10,000.

The Lava Blaze 2 is priced in India at ₹8,999 and can be purchased via Amazon and the Lava Store. The smartphone is available in Glass Blue, Glass Black, and Glass Orange color options with a glossy finish.

The Lava Blaze 2 sports a 6.5-inch LCD panel with an HD+ resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels. The screen features a 2.5D curved display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The panel features a hole-punch cutout at the top which houses the selfie camera.
Speaking of cameras, the Blaze 2 features a dual camera setup at rear, which comprises a 13MP main camera and an AI lens. The smartphone is equipped with an 8MP camera at the front for selfies and video calls.
The Lava Blaze 2 features a UniSoC T616 processor which is accompanied by a Mali-G57 GPU. The smartphone comes with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM, 128GB of UFS storage, and supports 5GB of virtual RAM. The storage can be expanded via a microSD card slot.
The Lava Blaze 2 is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging via a USB Type-C port. For security, the smartphone features a fingerprint scanner as well as Face Unlock.
The Lava Blaze 2 boots Android 12 out of the box, and the brand promises to upgrade it to Android 13. The smartphone will also get two years of security updates. As for connectivity, the device supports 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS.
