Infinix has announced the launch of the Infinix Smart 7 HD for the Indian market. The affordable Android smartphone has been confirmed to feature a large display, 5000mAh battery, and much more.

Infinix launched the Infinix Smart 7 Android smartphone back in February 2023. The Infinix Smart 7 HD is a trimmed-down version of the same. Let’s look at all the details of the upcoming budget Android smartphone from Infinix.

Infinix Smart 7 HD India Launch Announced

Infinix Smart 7 HD Specifications, Features

Infinix has confirmed the Smart 7 HD will feature a 6.6-inch IPS LCD HD+ display. The Infinix Smart 7 has a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with an HD+ resolution of 1,612×720 pixels, a 60Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 500 nits. It appears both smartphones will have the same display.

The Infinix Smart 7 HD will pack a smaller, 5,000mAh battery. The Smart 7 has a larger 6,000mAh battery. Infinix also confirmed that the upcoming budget device would have up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

Although Infinix hasn’t confirmed it yet, most of the other specifications are expected to be the same as the Infinix Smart 7 Android smartphone. If true, the Infinix Smart 7 HD should be powered by a Unisoc SC9863A1 SoC, paired with a PowerVR GPU.

The affordable Android smartphone has 4GB RAM and buyers can add another 3GB of Virtual RAM. Buyers get 64GB of internal storage. There is no other variant of the Infinix Smart 7, but buyers can insert a microSD card in a dedicated slot.

Despite being an affordable Android smartphone the Infinix Smart 7 has a dual camera setup on the back, comprising a 13MP primary AI camera and a 2MP secondary camera, accompanied by a dual-LED flash unit. There’s a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies, video calls, and face unlock.

Infinix has also embedded a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner in the Infinix Smart 7. The same feature may also be present on the Infinix Smart 7 HD.

The Infinix Smart 7 packs a 6000mAh battery, but the Infinix Smart 7 HD has been confirmed to ship with a smaller 5000mAh battery. Just like the Smart 7, the Smart 7 HD may support only 10W of wired charging via a USB Type-C charging port. The Infinix smartphone runs Android 12 with XOS 12 skin on top.

Infinix Smart 7 HD Price And Availability In India

The Infinix Smart 7 is currently available in Emerald Green, Night Black, and Azure Blue color options. Infinix may offer the Infinix Smart 7 in slightly different color options. The smartphone will be officially launched on April 28, 20223 in India.

The Infinix Smart 7 is currently available on Flipkart for ₹7,499. As the Infinix Smart 7 HD will be positioned below the Smart 7, it is possible the smartphone may be priced at ₹6,999.
