Google Pixel Fold, Pixel 7a release date, pricing, availability leaked ahead of May 10 launch

Google I/O 2023 kicks off in less than a month, on May 10, 2023. Google is expected to make major hardware and software announcements at its upcoming I/O event. And if the latest rumours are to be believed, we will likely see the first Pixel foldable smartphone at the event.

In a recent tweet by Jon Prosser reveals the Pixel Fold release date and pricing in the US. Prosser tweeted that the Pixel Fold launch date for set for May 10 at Google I/O 2023. Additionally, the foldable Pixel phone will also be up for pre-order from Google Store starting May 10 and retail partners from May 30.

He also noted that the Google Pixel Fold will begin shipping and go on sale from June 27. Replying to a user, Prosser said that the de price would start from $1,799 (roughly Rs 1,47,600) in the US. The Google Pixel 7a and Pixel tablet will also be announced at I/O 2023 and will be available for purchase immediately following the announcement.

Additionally, the Pixel 7a price in India could be priced higher than previously reported. While previous reports put the Pixel 7a’s price at under Rs 40,000 in India, new information suggests that the phone will cost $499 in the US, which is a $50 hike over last year’s Pixel 6a.

We recently went through the Pixel 7a specifications, although Prosser noted that the device will be offered in Charcoal, Snow, Sea (light blue), andCoral, which will be available exclusively through the Google Store. Additionally, he also stressed that the Pixel 6a will not be discontinued.

As of now, details surrounding Google’s upcoming foldable smartphone are still under wraps, although information about the Pixel 7a has been extensively leaked. Lastly, the Pixel Tab, Google’s first tablet will also revealed at I/O 2023.
