The Vivo X90 series has got an official launch date in India. The X90 series will include the Vivo X90 and Vivo X90 Pro in India, while the X90 Pro+ model was limited to China. Vivo also launched its flagship X90 series globally, giving us a detailed look at its specifications.

The Vivo X90 series India launch is taking place on April 26 at 12:00 pm (IST). Vivo took to twitter to confirm that Vivo X90 series launch in India, while a dedicated page on the company’s website has also gone live. The page highlights aspects of the Vivo X90 Pro, primarily its cameras.

Vivo X90, Vivo X90 Pro Pricing, Availability

To recall, the Vivo X90 price in China starts from CNY 3,699 (roughly 42,300), while the Vivo X90 Pro features a starting price of CNY 4,999 (roughly 57,200). While there is no confirmation, we believe that Vivo X90 Pro price in India will fall under Rs 70,000, while the vanilla Vivo X90 price in India will start from under Rs 50,000

The Vivo X90 series has already been unveiled in several regions across Asia and Europe. However, the top-of-the-line Vivo X90 Pro Plus won’t be dropping in India anytime soon as the device was limited to launching in China.

Vivo X90 Pro Specifications

The Vivo X90 Pro is powered by the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC paired with the new Immortalis-G715 GPU. The chip is paired with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The handset will run Android 13-based Funtouch OS 13 on top.

Vivo X90 series launching in India on April 26

The Vivo X90 Pro sports a 6.78-inch 10-bit AMOLED panel with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 2800 × 1260 pixels resolution. The screen features a 120Hz refresh rate and a 300Hz touch sampling rate. The display boasts a peak brightness of 1,800 nits and supports HDR10+.

The phone also comes with Vivo’s self-developed V2 imaging chip for improved camera and display performance. The Vivo X90 Pro also packs a 4,870 mAh battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless fast charging support. The handset boasts stereo speakers with Hi-Res Audio and aptX-HD support.

For optics, the Vivo X90 Pro has a triple-rear camera setup with a 50 MP Sony IMX866 sensor at the helm. The main camera is paired with a 50 MP portrait lens and a 12 MP ultrawide shooter. On the front, the phone’s hole-punch cut-out houses a 32 MP selfie camera.

Vivo X90 Specifications

The Vivo X90 shares the exact specifications as its ‘Pro’ counterparts. The only differences between the two phones are that the 50 MP portrait lens is replaced with a 12 MP portrait shooter. Additionally, the slightly smaller 4,810 mAh battery only supports 120W wired charging with wireless charging absent here.

While the main camera on both the Pro and vanilla models features OIS support on the main camera, only the 50 MP portrait lens on ‘Pro’ variant supports OIS. Additionally, both the Vivo X90 and X90 Pro feature Zeiss optics with Zeiss’ T lens coating.
