Motorola Razr Lite 2023 Design Renders Surface Online: Smaller Outer Display And Camera Setup Revealed

|

Motorola is expected to launch the Motorola Razr 2023 flip phone this year. In addition to the flagship-grade Android smartphone, Motorola may also launch the Razr Lite 2023, a trimmed-down version of the Razr 2023 Flip.

Design renders of the Motorola Razr Lite 2023 have surfaced, revealing its design, camera, and other details. The Razr Lite appears to have an inner display with a hole-punch cutout at the top center for the selfie camera, uniform bezels, and a smaller external display, according to renders.

Motorola Razr Lite 2023 Design Renders Suggest A Smaller Outer Screen

Motorola Razr lineup should welcome the Motorola Razr 2023. However, there are persistent rumors about another clamshell-style foldable Android smartphone in the lineup.

Motorola hasn’t offered any information or confirmed the existence of any upcoming foldable smartphone, but several leaks suggest the company is readying the Motorola Razr Plus. The device is being internally referred to as the XT2321.

Apart from the Motorola Razr Plus 2023 Edition, a mystery device, dubbed the Motorola Razr Lite, has surfaced online. The design renders of this device have been reportedly based on low-resolution real-world photographs of a prototype in the testing phase.

As indicated by the renders, the Razr Lite 2023 has a clamshell-style folding mechanism. The foldable display of the smartphone has a hole-punch cutout at the top center. The bezels around the display seem thin and uniform, which should offer an immersive viewing experience for the user.

The Motorola Razr Lite 2023 has a comparatively tiny outer display. This suggests the cover display might be limited to offering basic functions, shortened notifications for calls and messages, and perhaps weather as well as battery life indications.

The display is smaller than any of the current generation of clamshell-foldable Android smartphones such as the Oppo Find N2 Flip, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 (Review), and even the upcoming Vivo X Flip.

Motorola Razr Lite 2023 Dual Camera Setup Nestled Alongside The Outer Display

The relatively tiny outer display of the Motorola Razr Lite 2023 seems to house the dual camera setup as well. The LED flash module is also placed below the camera sensors.

The renders of the Motorola Razr Lite 2023 hint at antenna lines placed on the curved side edges of the Android smartphone. This suggests the chassis is made of metal, presumably aerospace-grade aluminum.

Needless to say, Motorola hasn’t even acknowledged the existence of the Motorola Razr Lite 2023. Some reports suggest Motorola might launch a single clamshell-style foldable smartphone this year, and call it Motorola Razr 2023.
