The Honor 80 series arrived in November 2022, and the company is now finalizing the development of the 90 lineup. According to noted tipster Digital Chat Station, the new Pro version will be a mild upgrade over the predecessor, keeping the same display, chipset, and main camera.

The leakster compared the phone to the unreleased Oppo Reno 10 Pro+, saying the Honor 90 Pro will be “inferior”.

The Honor 90 Pro will have a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset with a 3.0 GHz prime CPU core. The display ill have 1224p resolution and there will still be two selfie cameras inside dual punch holes.

The biggest news is Honor will stick to the Samsung ISOCELL HP3 sensor that theoretically outputs 200MP images. The Honor 80 Pro was limited to 160MP and we have to wait and see whether the company will now leverage its full resolution this time.
