Vivo could launch the Vivo Y78 series soon. The series should include the standard Vivo Y78 and the slightly better Vivo Y78+. A new image has revealed how both smartphones look.
The Vivo Y78+ 5G could launch before its standard variant as it has been popping up on several certification websites. Moreover, the Y78 series should launch in multiple markets outside China. Let’s look at all the available details of the upcoming midrange Android smartphone series from Vivo.

Vivo Y78+ 5G Leaked Image Reveals Rear And Front Camera, Display, And Other Details
The Vivo Y78+ 5G has been spotted at TENAA certification. Thereafter the smartphone appeared on Geekbench and secured 3C certification. Its design has now been revealed, which suggests Vivo could launch the Vivo Y78+ 5G soon.
The leaked image suggests the Vivo Y78+ 5G has a curved-edge display. A punch-hole cutout at the center of the screen is clearly visible, which should accommodate the front-facing camera.
The volume rockers and the power button seem to be placed on the right edge of the Vivo 78+ 5G. Since they are placed a little recessed, it is likely that Vivo has embedded a fingerprint scanner inside the power button. However, some reports suggest Vivo might offer an under-display fingerprint sensor.

Speaking of the display, the Vivo Y78+ 5G appears to have a curved display, which could be an AMOLED screen. Although impossible to tell, it is possible that Vivo has used a Full HD+ panel, presumably with a 90Hz or 120Hz refresh rate.
The Vivo Y78+ 5G has a dual camera setup on the back, but the exact specifications of the imaging hardware aren’t known yet. A circular dual LED flash has been included on the camera island which takes up considerable space on the back of the device.
The leaked image has indicated the Vivo Y78+ 5G will be available in Black, Blue, and Gold color options. Vivo may use some fancy names to describe the colors.
Vivo Y78+ 5G Leaked Specifications, Features
The Vivo Y78+ has previously been spotted on the certification websites of a few countries. It even popped up in the Google Play Supported Devices list, and has its own Google Play Console listing, which confirmed the Vivo Y78 5G features a Full HD+ resolution display with a 440 PPI pixel density.
The Vivo Y78+, bearing model number V2271A, appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform. It appears the Vivo smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC.
The Geekbench listing revealed the Vivo smartphone is running Android 13 and packing 11.15 GB of RAM, which should translate to 12GB of RAM in marketing materials. Vivo will surely apply its own custom skin over the base Android OS.
The smartphone was recently spotted on China’s 3C certification listing, which confirmed the upcoming smartphone is packing a 5,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging support via a USB Type-C charging port.
