Vivo seems to be offering multiple mid-range Android smartphones. A Vivo Android smartphone has surfaced on Geekbench, which some reports suggest could be the Vivo Y78+. Given the specifications and hardware of the mystery Vivo phone, the Vivo Y78+ appears to be a mid-range device that will compete with the Redmi Note 12 5G, Poco X5 5G, Realme 10 5G, and others.

Vivo Y78+ Geekbench Listing Reveals SD 695, 12GB RAM, And More
The Vivo Y78+ has been spotted on the certification websites of a few countries. The Vivo smartphone even popped up in the Google Play Supported Devices list.
The Vivo Y78+ has now appeared on the Geekbench database website, revealing key specifications such as the chipset, RAM, and the OS it runs. Needless to mention, the Geekbench scores also reveal the capabilities of the smartphone.
The Vivo Y78+, bearing model number V2271A, has appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform. The smartphone scored 670 on the single-core test and 1976 on the multi-core test.

The chipset powering the Vivo Y78+ has eight cores, of which, two performance cores are clocked at 2.21 GHz, while the rest of the cores are efficiency cores, clocked at 1.80 GHz. These specifications suggest the Vivo smartphone could be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC.
The Geekbench listing revealed the mystery Vivo smartphone is running Android 13 and packing 11.15 GB of RAM, which should translate to 12GB of RAM in marketing materials.
Vivo Y78+ Expected Specifications
Vivo has acknowledged the existence of the Vivo Y78+, let alone tease the specifications and features of the smartphone. Hence, most of the information about the device has been collated from leaks and rumors.
The Vivo Y78+ is expected to feature a Full HD+ LCD screen that’s larger than 6 inches. The smartphone was recently spotted on China’s 3C certification listing, which revealed the upcoming smartphone is packing a 5,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging support via a USB Type-C charging port.
The Vivo Y78+ is expected to sport a triple camera setup on the back, which could be headlined by a 50MP primary camera. There could be a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies, video calls, and face unlock.
