Vivo Teases X90 Series Launch in India: Rumored Features, Launch Timeline

Vivo is rumored to launch the Vivo X90 series on April 26, 2023. Ahead of the purported launch, the brand has started teasing the upcoming smartphone on Twitter. The video also showed a glimpse of the Vivo X90’s camera setup.

The Vivo X90, X90 Pro, and X90 Pro+ were launched in China late last year. Soon after, the Vivo X90 and Vivo X90 Pro debuted in some global markets. We can expect Vivo to reveal more about the upcoming smartphone lineup in the coming weeks.

Vivo X90, Vivo X90 Pro Features

The Vivo X90 and the X90 Pro are expected to be similar to the global variant. Both smartphones sport a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a Full HD+ resolution of 1,260 x 2,800 pixels. The panel features a refresh rate of 120Hz and 1300 nits of peak brightness.

The Vivo X90 lineup will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9200 processor. It could be accompanied by up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. As for the operating system, the smartphones will boot Android 13-based FunTouch OS 13 out of the box.

As for the cameras, the Vivo X90 sports a triple-camera setup at the rear, comprising a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 12MP portrait lens. It will feature a 32MP selfie shooter at the front.

Meanwhile, the Vivo X90 Pro features a triple-camera array, which includes a one-inch 50MP Sony IMX989 sensor, accompanied by a 50MP Sony IMX758 portrait lens and a 12MP ultra-wide lens. At the front, the device has a 32MP selfie camera.

The Vivo X90 features a 4,810mAh battery with 120W wired fast charging. The Vivo X90 Pro sports a slightly larger battery with a capacity of 4,870mAh. It also gets 120W wired fast charging support.

Vivo X90, Vivo X90 Pro Rumored Price

According to tipster Yogesh Brar, the Vivo X90 Pro could be priced between ₹60,000 and ₹90,000. Some reports suggest that the Vivo X90 might cost around ₹45,000 in India, while the X90 Pro could retail for around ₹60,000.
