Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Plus Spotted on Geekbench

The Galaxy Tab S9, which was spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking site, is likely to be a US variant.

The website listed a score of 2049 points in the single-core test of the Geekbench 5 benchmarking test. The tablet is said to have scored 5492 points in the multi-core test.

The US variant of the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus is likely to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor (that has been code-named “kalama”). Three of its cores are clocked at 2.02GHz, four cores at 2.80GHz, and another core at 3.36GHz.

While that’s all the information the listing reveals in regards to the processor, it most likely points towards the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.

The listing further reveals that the tablet will boot Android 13 and will come with 12GB of RAM.

There has been a slew of reports regarding the Samsung Galaxy S9 series of late. Recent reports have also suggested that there could be another two Galaxy Tab S9 FE/Lite models in the offing.

The two purported models were also spotted on Geekbench a few days ago, fueling these rumors. The device with the model number SM-X516B is said to feature 6GB of RAM, whereas the device with the model number SM-X616B is said to have a larger memory with 8GB of RAM.

These two variants will also likely come with an Exynos 1380 chipset which was last seen on the Galaxy A54 5G.

All five purported variants of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series are likely to launch at Samsung’s Unpacked event in the third quarter of this year.
