OnePlus is set to announce a special edition variant of the Ace 2 in China. Made in collaboration with miHoYo and Genshin, this variant will feature a custom color and material for the back.
The special edition Ace 2 will be the first OnePlus phone to feature a vegan leather back. The edges have a stitch line as well as a striped pattern. The material is finished in a unique Lava Red color.
Design and packaging
Also interesting is the packaging. The phone will ship in a custom box that looks like food delivery packaging with a locking mechanism for the front doors and metal handle. It also seems like the phone will feature five custom themes.
Other color variants
Aside from that, the phone is the standard Ace 2, which is also known as the OnePlus 11R in other markets. This variant will only ship in the top of the line 16+512GB variant. There is no information yet on the pricing.
The special edition Genshin Ace 2 will be announced on April 17. This model will be exclusive to the Chinese market.
