HTC has been gradually expanding its budget and affordable Android smartphone lineup. After launching the HTC Wildfire E3, HTC has now announced the Wildfire E3 Lite.
The HTC Wildfire E3 Lite appears to be ab affordable Android smartphone powered by a Unisoc SoC. Let’s look at all the available details of the entry-level Android smartphone from HTC.

HTC Wildfire E3 Lite Specifications, Features
The HTC Wildfire E3 Lite features a 6.517-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 20:9 aspect ratio with a resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels. The 720p display has a 60Hz refresh rate.
The entry-level Android smartphone is powered by an octa-core Unisoc SC9863A SoC which has a peak clock speed of 1.6 GHz. The chipset has an IMG8322 GPU.
The base variant of HTC Wildfire E3 Lite ships with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. There’s another model with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Buyers can insert a microSD card of up to 256GB to expand onboard storage.
The HTC Wildfire E3 Lite has a dual camera setup on the back, comprising 13MP primary camera with f/2.2 aperture, a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and an LED flash.
There’s a 5MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture for selfies, video calls, and face unlock. There’s a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.
HTC has embedded a 5000mAh battery inside the HTC Wildfire E3 Lite, which supports 10W wired charging. The smartphone runs Android 12 out of the box.
Some of the notable connectivity features of the HTC smartphone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. The HTC Wildfire E3 Lite measures 164.8×76.5×9.2mm and weighs 218 grams.
HTC Wildfire E3 Lite Price, Launch, And Availability
The HTC Wildfire E3 Lite will be available in Black and Blue colors. The affordable Android smartphone is expected to go on sale in Africa soon. There’s no confirmation about the smartphone’s launch outside Africa.
HTC hasn’t yet revealed the pricing of the HTC Wildfire E3 Lite. However, Water World International Industrial Limited has licensed the HTC brand to release phones in Africa. Hence, the price of the smartphone could be intentionally kept very low to increase smartphone penetration and usage in Africa.
