The Asus ROG Phone 7 has received the NTBC certification ahead of its April 13 launch. The vanilla ROG Phone 7, along with the ROG Phone 7 Pro and ROG Phone 7D, will be included in the Asus ROG Phone 7 series of gaming smartphones.
The ROG Phone 7 was also previously spotted on multiple certification websites such as 3C, Geekbench, and TENAA. Let’s have a look at the rumored specs of the upcoming Asus ROG Phone 7.

The Asus ROG Phone 7 has received the NBTC certification, confirming that the smartphone bears model number ASUS_AI2205_C. It also confirms the Asus ROG Phone 7 moniker. However, no other details were revealed by the certification site.

Asus ROG Phone 7 Expected Features
According to past reports, the Asus ROG Phone 7 will feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display. The panel will feature a Full HD+ display with a refresh rate of 165Hz. For security, it will feature an under-display fingerprint scanner.
The upcoming ROG Phone 7 will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. It will be accompanied by LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. According to a Geekbench listing, the smartphone could support 16GB of RAM.
When it comes to imaging, the Phone 7 could feature a triple camera array at the back. The camera setup will likely include a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary camera, a 13MP ultrawide sensor, and a 5MP macro lens. At the front, it could feature a 32MP selfie shooter.
The Asus ROG Phone 7 is expected to feature a large 6,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. It could also get an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.
As for the operating system, the ROG Phone 7 will run Android 13-based ROG UI out of the box. The smartphone will likely weigh less than 240 grams.
