The Vivo X Fold 2 is expected to launch in China in April. Ahead of its debut, key specifications of the upcoming foldable smartphone have surfaced online. While there’s no word on the exact launch date, we can consider the device to arrive soon, going by the sheer number of leaks popping up every day.
Vivo X Fold 2 Leaked Specs
The latest set of leaks seem to be fairly reliable, as they appear to originate from presentation slides targeted towards salespeople. According to the images, the Vivo X Fold 2 will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.

The Qualcomm SoC will be paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 internal storage. It is reported that the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will feature Wi-Fi 7.
The X Fold 2’s inner panel will feature an E6 AMOLED screen that’s 8.03-inches in size. The display will have a resolution of 2160 x 1916 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It will have a peak brightness of 1800 nits.
As for the cover display, the Vivo X Fold 2 will also get a Samsung E6 screen measuring 6.53 inches. The panel will feature a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1080p resolution. According to past reports, both outer and inner panels will get under-display fingerprint scanners.

When it comes to the battery, the upcoming Vivo X Fold wil get a unit with 4,800mAh capacity. In addition, it will come with support for 120W wired and 50W wireless fast charging.
Going by previously leaked images, the Vivo X Fold 2 will sport a Zeiss-tuned triple-camera setup at the back. The cameras will be accompanied by an LED flash in a circular camera island.
According to rumors, the X Fold 2 will likely feature a 50MP Sony IMX866 main camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization). It will be paired with a Sony IMX663 ultrawide sensor and an IMX663 lens. The foldable phone will also get a Vivo V2 ISP.
