Samsung appears to have scored a home run with the Galaxy S23 series, as the South Korean titan stated that the Galaxy S23 series sold 1.4 times more than the Galaxy S22 series last year.
Galaxy S23 Ultra Reigns Supreme as Best-seller in S23 Series
Samsung reported that its top-of-the-line Galaxy S23 Ultra saw an overwhelmingly positive response and as such, it was the best-selling variant worldwide, including in India.

The tech giant further added that the industry’s belief in the performance of the S23 Ultra and its impressive camera performance of 200 million pixels has been the catalyst to winning over consumers.
Back in February, Samsung stated that the pre-orders for its Galaxy S23 series were higher than the Galaxy S22 series from last year. Furthermore, 60 percent of the people pre-ordering the S23 models opted for the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The company has also added that the S23 series have recorded higher sales across the globe as well.
Apart from India, the Galaxy S23 series also made major strides in other countries: the flagship series sold 1.5 times more than its predecessor in the Middle East. In major Latin American countries such as Brazil and Mexico, the Galaxy S23 series sold 1.7 times higher than the Galaxy S22 series.
Galaxy S23 Series Surpassed 1 Million Sales in South Korea
Talking about Samsung’s home country, South Korean sales recently surpassed 1 million units and this was similar to the previous generation during the same period. The tech giant offered a variety of promotional benefits to its customers in the country, helping the Galaxy S23 series further boost in popularity.
Samsung is going to launch the Galaxy S23 series in Japan on the 20th of April, and after this launch, the global launch of the flagship series will have been completed in all countries in the Middle East and Africa.
Samsung has so far released the Galaxy S23 series in around 130 countries. These markets include Korea, the United States, Europe, Southeast Asia, Latin America, and India.
Samsung Partners with JioCinema
On a separate note, Samsung announced that it has partnered with JioCinema to stream TATA IPL 2023 and other entertainment content for all Samsung TV models starting from 2018 and all Samsung Smart Monitors starting from 2022.

With the cricket fever soaring high due to the craze of IPL, Samsung believes partnering with JioCinema will let viewers enjoy a “stadium-like” experience at home, and they can easily tune in to the match by accessing the JioCinema app directly from the home screen of their device.
