Apple is expected to announce iOS 17 at the upcoming worldwide developer conference (WWDC) in June this year. Ahead of the launch, rumours and leaks are giving us a glimpse of what to expect. By the looks of it, iOS 17 will be introducing quite a few changes to the iPhone look and feel.
As per a report by MacRumors, iOS 17 is expected to feature a revamped Control Centre with major changes.

iOS 17 to Bring New Control Centre
The Control Centre is one place expected to see prominent changes. However, it is not yet clear what exactly these changes are. The publication did not share more information about the revamps, adding only that it will be a complete makeover.
The report can be true, considering the Control Centre will turn 10 this year. It received a facelift in iOS 11 and is due for a refresh for some time now.
End of the Road for iPhone X
That apart, iOS 17 will sound the end of life for a handful of fairly recent smartphones like the iPhone X, iPhone 8, and iPhone 8 Plus. It will also end support for first-gen 9.7-inch iPad and 12.9-inch iPad Pro.
Apple is also working to include several user-requested features in iOS 17, according to Apple reporter Mark Gurman.
He said Apple initially started off with just bug fixes and performance improvements with iOS 17, than adding new features. However, midway, the strategy changed with iOS 17 expected to feature several “nice to have” features.
“The goal of the software, codenamed “Dawn,” is to check off several of users’ most requested features,” Gurman wrote on Twitter.
Apple WWDC will kick off on June 5, and end on June 9. The company is expected to unveil its first mixed reality headset at the event amidst much tumult inside Apple HQ.
