The specifications of the iQOO Neo 8 Pro smartphone have leaked online. The premium Android smartphone is tipped to feature a 1.5K AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC, 16GB RAM, and much more.

iQOO recently launched the iQOO Neo 7 smartphone in India. The company hasn’t confirmed the existence of the iQOO Neo 8 series, but key features have surfaced online. Let’s look at all the available details of the as-yet-unannounced smartphone Vivo’s sub-brand.

iQOO Neo 8 Pro Leaked Specifications, Features

iQOO is currently promoting the iQOO Neo 7 series. In other words, there’s still some time before the brand starts teasing the iQOO Neo 8 series, which is expected to include the iQOO Neo 8 and iQOO Neo 8 Pro smartphones.

While the iQOO Neo 8 is rumored to pack the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, the iQOO Neo 8 Pro is tipped to feature MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset. iQOO is expected to flaunt a large 6.78 inches AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution.

The screen of the iQOO Neo 8 Pro is tipped to have a refresh rate of 120Hz and a resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels. It would support 2160Hz PWM Dimming. Needless to mention the display and the chipset are a significant upgrade over the iQOO Neo 7 series.

The MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset powering the smartphone would be paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. There could be one more variant of the iQOO Neo 8 Pro with 12GB RAM and 12GB of internal storage.

A previous report about the iQOO Neo 8 Pro had suggested the smartphone would be equipped with a 50MP primary rear camera iQOO is tipped to embed a large 1/1.5-inch camera sensor in the phone. The other camera sensors aren’t known yet, but the iQOO Neo 8 Pro should have a potent triple rear camera setup comprising an ultra-wide-angle sensor and a telephoto sensor.

The iQOO Neo 8 Pro should have a 5000mAh battery, and similar to the iQOO Neo 7, should support 120W wired fast charging via a USB-C port. The device should run FuntouchOS 13 OS, which is based on Android 13.

iQOO Neo 8 Pro Expected Launch In India

iQOO hasn’t even acknowledged the existence of the iQOO Neo 8 Pro. However, some reports suggest the brand may launch the smartphone in the third quarter of this year.

The iQOO Neo 8 series may launch in China, but the brand may alter the names slightly. The iQOO Neo 7 series has launched in India. Hence, the iQOO Neo 8 series too should arrive in India after it is launched in China.
