Renders of the upcoming Asus ROG Phone 7 Pro have been leaked online, offering a look at the smartphone’s design and accessories. The premium gaming smartphone will debut on April 14, 2023.
Besides the Phone 7 Pro, the ROG Phone 7 series is expected to include the vanilla ROG Phone 7, the ROG Phone 7 Ultimate, and perhaps the ROG Phone 7D.

Asus ROG Phone 7 Pro Design
The renders of the upcoming Asus ROG Phone 7 Pro have been leaked by prolific tipster EvLeaks. Going by the images, it appears that the Phone 7 Pro will be quite similar to its predecessor, the ROG Phone 6 Pro.
The smartphone features thick bezels at the top as well as the bottom of the display. There’s also a punch-hole cutout which houses the selfie camera.
At the rear, the Asus ROG Phone 7 Pro features a triple-camera setup with an LED flash. According to rumors, the smartphone could feature a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary camera. The camera setup is capable of recording 8K videos.

According to the tipster, the upcoming smartphone will feature an Aero Active Cooler, which will reportedly cool down the phone, thus improving the handset’s performance.
Asus ROG Phone 7 Pro Rumored Features
The Asus ROG Phone 7 Pro is expected to feature the same size as the base model. The smartphone will likely feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel. It will have a Full HD+ resolution with a 165Hz refresh rate.
In addition, the screen could get a 720Hz touch sampling rate. The smartphone could feature an under-display fingerprint scanner for security.
Meanwhile, the vanilla ROG Phone 7 was spotted on multiple certification sites such as Geekbench, TENAA, and 3C. The smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. It will be accompanied by up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.
The ROG Phone 7 will boot Android 13-based ROG UI out of the box. It could also get an IP54 rating for water and dust resistance. The smartphone is expected to get a large 6,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support .
