gsmarena 002

Sony’s WH-1000X series headphones have established themselves as one of the best all-around noise-canceling headphones and their fifth generation has been out for nearly a year now. The XM5s used to only came in black and silver colors until yesterday when Sony announced the new Midnight Blue version alongside its latest TWS earbuds – the WF-C700N.

The new Midnight Blue XM5s are with us here today for a quick look. The new color is a very dark shade of blue, which can be described as Indigo blue. They feature the same smudge-prone matte texture as the other XM5 variants and have copper accents on the Sony logo and the zippers on the carrying case.

The retail package includes the headphones, their color-matched case, a black USB-C cable for charging and a legacy 3.5mm audio jack cable with an L-shaped connector. The earcups are painted in Midnight Blue to match the rest of the headphones.
