Vivo is actively expanding in the budget and affordable Android smartphone segment. The company launched multiple devices this week, including the Vivo Y11 4G and the Vivo Y02A.
The Vivo Y11 4G and the Vivo Y02A pack entry-level hardware and 720p screens. These are limited to 4G networks. Still, the smartphones have a large display, 5000mAh battery, and other features that budget-conscious buyers may appreciate. Let’s look at all the details of the Vivo Y02A, including its specifications, features, price, and availability.

Vivo Y02A Specifications, Features
Vivo launched the entry-level Vivo Y02 smartphone last December. The smartphone was launched in India. The Vivo Y02A is similar to the Vivo Y02 and shares most of the specifications, except for the chipset.
The Vivo Y02A features a 6.51-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with 720 x 1600 pixels resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. The smartphone runs Android 12 Go Edition with Funtouch OS 12 on top.
The Vivo Y02A is powered by MediaTek’s octa-core Helio P35 processor, while the Vivo Y02 had a MediaTek Helio P22 SoC. The entry-level chipset is paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Buyers can insert a microSD card to expand onboard storage.
Vivo has embedded a single 8MP camera on the back of the Vivo Y02A and a 5MP camera on the front of the smartphone. There’s no mention of a fingerprint scanner. This means buyers may need to rely on the front-facing camera for biometric authentication, apart from selfies and video calls.
The Vivo Y02A has a 5000mAh battery, which supports 10W charging. The device has dual SIM card support, 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a micro USB port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It measures 163.99 x 75.63 x 8.49mm and weighs 186 grams.
