Realme has announced it sold more than 100k units of the Realme C55 within five hours of its first sale in India yesterday. The company also revealed that Realme C55 received over 66k pre-orders – the highest yet for a C-series smartphone.
The Realme C55 is sold in India through Realme’s official website, Flipkart, and retail stores in Rainy Night and Sunshower colors with three memory options – 4GB/64GB, 6GB/64GB, and 8GB/128GB, priced at INR10,999 ($135/€125), INR11,999 ($145/€135), and INR13,999 ($170/€155), respectively.

The Realme C55 is built around a 6.72″ FullHD+ 90Hz LCD with the Helio G88 SoC at the helm. It runs Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0 out of the box and features three cameras – 64MP primary, 2MP depth, and 8MP selfie.
The C55 is fueled by a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W charging – a first for a Realme C-series smartphone. Another highlight of the Realme C55 is Mini Capsule, which is also a first for any Realme smartphone. It currently only shows the battery status, but it will get more functionality at some point with an OTA.
